IN THIS STAGE, WE WILL:

Read a variety of letters between Pliny and the Emperor Trajan.
Define, identify, and translate gerunds.
Read and translate the present passive subjunctive.
Define and translate temporal, circumstantial, causal, and concessive cum clauses.
Describe and practice epistolary writing.
Review the forms of Latin verbs learned up to this point with synopses.
Develop reading and vocabulary skills.
